A high quality photo is needed for me to complete the portrait. This is easily achieved on a phone - so no need to worry!
Some photo tips!
- Good lighting, so that I can see all of their features clearly.
- Try to take the photo at eye level, as this is a flattering angle.
- I've found that the best photos are either of your pet facing straight at the camera or slightly to the side.
- If like me, you have hundreds of photos of your pets and aren't sure which one to chose. Send loads over to me! I'll help you chose which one will work best, and the more photos I have to work from the easier it is for me to get their features right!
If you have limited photos of the pet, or they are old. Don't worry, send them over to me and I'll see if I am able to work from them.
Below are some examples of great reference photos!

*please note, that the photos you provide me must be taken by you, or you must have permission for their use from the person who took them. (For example, a professional photographer as they own the copyright to the photo). If the portrait is a gift, you accept responsibility for sourcing the images that are of the recipients pet. By sending me the photos you are granting me permission to use them.*
